Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy (the “Policy”) explains what content and conduct is permitted and prohibited on the হবে নাকি Coffee? platform. It forms part of, and expands on, our Terms and Conditions, which you can read here.

Prohibited content and activity

The following are strictly prohibited on the platform (and may constitute criminal offences under applicable Bangladesh law):

• Fraud, impersonation, scams, or spam (DSA 2018 ss. 24, 25).
• Adult content, pornography, or sexually explicit material (Pornography Control Act 2012).
• Illegal gambling, lotteries, or unauthorized financial schemes (Public Gambling Act 1867).
• Hate speech, defamatory, or harassing content (DSA 2018 ss. 28, 29, 31).
• Infringing another party’s intellectual property (Copyright Act 2000).
• Attempting to disrupt platform security or functionality, e.g. hacking, malware (ICT Act 2006 ss. 54, 56, 57).
• Money laundering or suspicious financial activity (Money Laundering Prevention Act 2012).

Platform-specific misuse

The following are also treated as violations of this Policy:

• Self-gifting or coordinating fake support to exploit platform subscription monthly caps (wash trading).
• Creating multiple accounts as the same person.
• Submitting fake or someone else’s NID/documents for KYC.
• Publishing fraudulent or misleading offers to supporters.

How to report

If you believe a creator is violating this Policy, you can submit a report through the platform (no login required) — with a category (e.g. fraud, harassment, inappropriate content), a description, and evidence (photos/files) where relevant. How report data is collected and retained is described in our Privacy Policy.

Submitting a false or malicious report is itself a violation of this Policy.

Enforcement

Depending on the severity and recurrence of a violation, we may apply one or more of the following steps — severe violations may skip directly to stricter action:

1. Warning: A written warning for a first or minor violation.
2. Content removal: Removing the violating content/offer.
3. Account suspension: Temporarily deactivating the profile (the page goes offline; new support/payments are blocked).
4. Account termination: Permanently closing the account.
5. Fund holds: Pausing wallet withdrawals during an investigation or for a severe violation.

The reason and date of any suspension are retained in our records. We will, where reasonably possible, inform the creator of the reason for suspension/termination, though advance notice is not required — see details in our Terms.

When investigating a report, authorized support managers may review the relevant account through a time-boxed, audited support session, not only through content removal or suspension — see our Privacy Policyfor details.

Appeals

If you disagree with a decision, you may appeal by contacting support@hobenakicoffee.com. Include relevant evidence and explanation — we will review the decision.

Policy changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. For significant changes, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice.
