Introduction
If you want to delete your হবে নাকি Coffee? account and all associated data, follow either of the methods below. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, posts, messages, and other associated information — this action cannot be undone. Exactly what is deleted, and what may be retained anonymously (to preserve other users’ transaction records), is detailed below — also see our Privacy Policy.
What gets deleted, and what stays
As soon as your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:
- Profile information (name, bio, photos, username)
- Published posts, feed content, and shop/product listings
- Messages and conversations
- Wallet balance, your transaction history, and withdrawal requests
- Payout/banking methods (bKash, Nagad, bank account details)
- KYC documents and verification submissions
- Memberships, newsletter subscriptions, reviews, and service requests
Separately, some information tied to you may be retained anonymously — for example, a transaction record from another user’s purchase/gift stays on their side of the ledger, but the link to your identity is removed. This is only to keep the platform’s accounting and the other party’s records intact.
Option 1: Delete your account yourself
You can delete your account and all associated data directly from your account settings:
- Go to Profile and Page settings.
- Find the “Delete account” option at the bottom of the page.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm deletion.
Option 2: Contact us
If you can’t access your account or need assistance, you can request data deletion via our Contact page or by emailing us directly at support@hobenakicoffee.com. We may ask you to verify the email or username associated with your account. Once verified, requests are typically completed within 30 days.
